12 Oct Final Action Date for EB-5 Mainland China moves to November 22, 2015 in the November 2015 Visa Bulletin
The EB-5 visa classification saw progress for Mainland China born petitioners in the November 2015 Visa Bulletin.
The November 2015 Visa Bulletin lists the EB-5 category as Current for all countries except Mainland China born petitioners.
The Final Action Date for Mainland China born petitioners moves to November 22, 2013. This is the date that determines when a US Consulate can approve an EB-5 visa for Mainland China petitioners.
The Date For Filing for Mainland China remains at May 1, 2015.
The notes to the November 2015 Visa Bulletin at page 8 confirm that the EB-5 classification is current in October of 2015 based on the notes to the October 2015 Visa Bulletin:
“An extension of both the Employment Fourth Preference Certain Religious Workers (SR) and Employment Fifth Preference Pilot (I5 and R5) Categories was signed into law in late September. As indicated in item D of the Visa Bulletin which announced the October cut-off dates, the extension has resulted in the immediate application of the following cut-off dates for the month of October:
SR: “Current” for all countries
I5 and R5: “Current” for all countries, except China-mainland born. China-mainland born applicants are subject to an October 8, 2013 cut-off date.”
